Typing at the computer this evening, Nae comes around the corner and hugs my arm. I look at her and ask...
Me: Whatcha doing Nae?
Nae: Huggin you Momma.
Me: (As I scoop her up) Well, Let me hug you proper then.
I rock her back and forth and squeeze her tight.
Nae: Ummm, Mom.....This is taking forever!!!
And we both end up in giggles!!!
Never a dull moment.

ReplyDeleteWith Nae, I don't think she will let us slip. She has grown to be a pretty affectionate kid. We just have to keep fostering it. My sister Charlie is the same way, you feel nothing less than adored in her presence. Nae has that same attitude.
